A quiet day at the beach with no one else around and not a sound except for that of the ocean waves is very relaxing. You can clear your mind of every day activities, just focusing on the sound of nature and watching the waves as they hit the shoreline.
I lost my husband years ago and I remember going down to the beach, which was only a few minutes away from our house. I sat on a beach towel and remember staring out as far as my eyes could see where the ocean met the sky, trying to find a place of comfort. My thought process gained perspective as I tried to figure out how I was going to move forward.
