There are numerous situations and circumstances that we all face that are difficult . For us as believers our reaction should demonstrate that we are indeed believers during these times. What do we believe? In an omnipotent God who created all things and conquered death through His son Jesus christ so we can live victoriously. There is nothing impossible with Him. If in fact we believe who He says He is, why then do we burden ourselves with worry instead of running to the only one who can help us in our time of need.
We should understand once and for all that worry is an enemy. It does nothing to change any of what we go through.The Bible is filled with scriptures telling us not to worry, not to fret, not to fear etc. We serve a God who is in control at all times. We should not only believe this when things are going smoothly, our faith should be activated at any sign of trouble. Just imagine our heavenly father looking down while we are stressing and not taking our cares to Him.
I remember my mom saying "Lord take the case and give me the pillow" when I was a child and there were problems. It was only after I accepted Christ as my savior that I really understood what this meant. Let's give our burdens to The Lord through prayer and ask Him for His peace so we can rest knowing His plans for us are good.
