Streaks of colors through the clouds across the sky, placed there by the Master Artist to symbolize His covenant with the earth. What a beautiful sight a rainbow is indeed. It's also amazing that this colorful covenant bow reflects in different places where there's water and sunlight. Over a foggy mountain, by a waterfall or waterfountain or even in a rain puddle. Where ever it appears it should be a reminder of that great promise.
A rainbow is not an optical illusion. It is what it is and cannot be anything else except that which it was created to be.
Genesis 9:13-15
I have set my rainbow in the clouds, and it will be the sign of the covenant between me and the earth. Whenever I bring clouds over the earth and the rainbow appears in the clouds, I will remember my covenant between me and you and all living creatures of every kind. Never again will the waters become a flood to destroy all life.
